WITH A DRESS DRIVE
A Dress Drive is a fun and easy way to collect dresses, jewelry and accessories that will ultimately end up going home with one of the teens we work with. A dress drive can be hosted by anyone—individuals, groups, teams, young or old! Whether you choose to host your event in a school, church, workplace or home, we can help you make sure your Dress Drive is a success.

The National Honor Society from Dakota Ridge High School (Littleton, CO) hosted a successful student dress-drive. We were excited to meet Hannah, pictured at left, and accept dozens of amazing prom dresses she and her friends collected on our behalf. Way to go!
GETTING STARTED

Nail down a date and contact us at Bella Boutique at least one month beforehand to let us know you are planning a Dress Drive.

Let us know if you need to track your volunteer hours for school or a community organization.

Create marketing materials - flyers, social media posts, online ads (for example, NextDoor or Craigslist)

Plan for a way to collect donations (bags, bins, etc) and a way to deliver them.
WHAT TO COLLECT
Although we call this a Dress Drive, we seek and appreciate gifts of prom jewelry, formal shoes, handbags, hair accessories, undergarments and unused hair & skin care products.
As far as the gowns themselves, we are looking for all types of evening wear including cocktail dresses, bridesmaids dresses, and prom gowns in all shapes and sizes.
